The reason for the different style of this interview was that all the earlier ones were done just for this blog, so I could bring my own self into the field and set up something like a conversation. But this one was done for a newspaper, and so my side had to be more impersonal: more conventional if you like. I put it up because I thought that Pico Iyer really took time and trouble over the composition of his answers.Chandrahashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07483080477755487202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9082470.post-64136513919025468162008-07-22T07:57:00.000+05:302008-07-22T07:57:00.000+05:30G Afternoon! While the interview is interesting, it...G Afternoon!

While the interview is interesting, it seems like the answers are much more readable than the questions. I usually enjoy your articles because you manage to weive some really different ideas together in them. This interview seems to particularly that quality. It almost appears that you had 5 or so questions written before hand and they were handed over to the author. Would have been lovely to get something like a conversation happening.

But thank you the content. Enjoyed the interview!!

Cheers!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
